Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develops comprehensive training materials, modules, and curricula focused on commercial HVAC systems, emphasizing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices. Provides personalized, one-on-one instruction on operating psychrometric chambers. Delivers individualized training on performing functionality tests on production-built equipment, and guides employees in troubleshooting, repairing, and correcting quality defects to ensure all equipment meets AAON standards. Coaches employees on best practices, proper tool usage, and adherence to safety and quality procedures to support consistent, high-quality production outcomes. Conducts engaging in-person training sessions, workshops, and seminars, offering in-depth instruction on system operations, repairs, and safety protocols. Facilitates hands-on demonstrations and provides advanced technical guidance on HVAC equipment installation and troubleshooting techniques. Integrates workplace safety protocols and best practices into all training programs to promote a safety-first culture. Evaluates trainee knowledge and skills through assessments and practical exercises, identifying opportunities for improvement. Researches industry trends and advancements in commercial HVAC technology to continuously update and improve training programs. Collaborates with OSU IT in developing and teaching AAON employees ACR skills. Understands and ensures compliance with regulatory standards, including ASHRAE, ANSI, AHRI, UL, and ISO. Mentors, trains, and guides technicians and team members, sharing knowledge, skills, and best practices to support professional growth and development. Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing risks to personnel and equipment. Locates parts, diagrams, and drawings independently within the AAON database.
