About The Position

Through the DoD SkillBridge Program, GDIT offers transitioning service members the opportunity to gain hands-on training and experience as a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Fellow . In this Fellowship, you’ll observe and participate in real-world mission support activities, learn from experienced engineers and TSCM professionals, and develop the technical skills used to protect critical systems and facilities across military and government operations. You’ll work alongside GDIT technical teams and customer counterparts while preparing for a successful transition into the civilian engineering and countermeasures workforce. As a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Fellow, you will train under the guidance of senior engineers and specialists to understand how electrical, electromechanical, and computer systems are designed, evaluated, tested, and maintained for secure facilities (SCIFs) and other mission-critical environments. During the Fellowship, you will support site survey activities, system testing efforts, and compliance observations while learning how customer systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to gain insight into technical problem-solving, threat assessments, and the processes used to advance countermeasures technologies.
