About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Professional for our client's operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in Bethesda, MD. Successful candidates in this position will have the ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project. The TSCM professional will establish an internal capability to assess and mitigate any technical/physical security concern related to personnel, facilities or information, to include technical support to CI and Insider Threat investigations.Responsibilities include:Develop, implement, and maintain TSCM programs and capabilities. Tasks may include but are not limited to:• Conduct physical/technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation.• Conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures inspections• Conduct TEMPEST surveys/assessments and recommend mitigations• Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements• Research and development of policy and instruction at Agency and ICD level• Evaluate and recommend medical device approval or mitigation strategy• Conduct radio frequency direction finding mission to identify unauthorized transmitting devices• Provide technical security SME input to designated IC working groups• Develop and dissemination of workforce education for CI and Sec

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • TSCM Certified with experience of TEMPEST assessments
  • Expert level of knowledge of Radio Frequencies, direction finding procedures, wireless communications, and general TSCM procedures and processes
  • General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security and anti-terrorism requirements, cyber security, digital forensic and IT infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years working with or in the IC.
