About The Position

A Technical Support Technician is needed to provide hands‑on assistance for end users across a wide range of devices. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting deployments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position is fully on‑site and requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is a plus.
  • Experience providing deskside or technical support preferred.
  • Familiarity with general operating systems and productivity software.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in‑person assistance for end users experiencing hardware or software issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems involving computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and general applications.
  • Set up and deploy new computers and related equipment.
  • Perform basic hardware repairs, upgrades, and component replacements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to request replacement parts or additional equipment.
  • Assist users with installing, configuring, and updating software.
  • Troubleshoot application errors, compatibility issues, and system performance problems.
  • Provide guidance on software usage and general best practices.
  • Log all issues and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to team members when needed.
  • Follow up with users to confirm successful resolution and gather feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Track the allocation, movement, and retirement of IT assets.
