About The Position

Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to work as part of our SeaTac based team. In this role, you will be the face of the Lynden IT department. You will provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and deployments for end-user hardware, software, and IoT systems. This position is not safety sensitive. Are you awesome? Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical support role.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in relevant subject.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for end-user hardware, software, and IoT systems via phone, chat, remote tools, or onsite intervention.
  • Install, image, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, servers, printers, cameras, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting associated hardware, software, and network services.
  • Manage and prioritize escalated incidents and project tasks through ticketing and project-management systems to ensure accurate, sequenced, and compliant resolution.
  • Lift items over 25 lbs. and work in confined spaces to replace workstations, monitors, run cabling, and perform other physical tasks.
  • Document all hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting activities, and ticket updates in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain the company’s hardware and software asset inventory, ensuring records are current and accurate.
  • Advise end users on selecting hardware and software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay current with developments in workstation and mobile operating systems, and internal networking practices.
