We are seeking a proactive, service-minded Technical Support Specialist to support our growing organization and ensure our teams have the tools they need to succeed. The Technical Support Specialist provides day-to-day technical support across plant locations, fleet operations, and offices. This role supports desktops, laptops, mobile devices, phones, network infrastructure, and plant-based technology systems in a fast-paced construction environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining system reliability, data security, and operational continuity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working hands-on in both office and plant environments, and partnering with employees at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of hands-on technical support experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience supporting Windows-based environments
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals and endpoint security
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Valid Class D Driver’s license and good driving record as will travel between local plant and office locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Image and deploy PCs and laptops for new and existing employees.
  • Install, maintain, and update desktop and application software.
  • Support phone systems and mobile devices.
  • Provide help desk support for hardware, software, and user-related issues.
  • Support plant technology including computers, printers, and related equipment.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting and coordinate with third-party vendors when needed.
  • Maintain user accounts, passwords, permissions, and system access.
  • Support antivirus, anti-spam, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Help ensure data integrity and file system security across the organization.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, or efficiencies and present recommendations to IT leadership for review and approval.
  • Participate in infrastructure and technology improvement projects.
  • Document support requests, solutions, and system configurations.
  • Assist in training employees on company systems and applications as needed.
