About The Position

The Technical Support intern will assist in responding to service desk requests, basic troubleshooting, and special projects. You will play a key role in supporting technology, making a meaningful impact on Majestic Steel’s daily operations. Requirements

  • Experience: Current student pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field, familiarity troubleshooting and support of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Skills & Abilities: Professional and friendly demeanor, ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical associates; detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to learning
  • Additional: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work efficiently in office, remote and warehouse settings

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or internships in an IT support environment.
  • Basic understanding of mobile device support (iOS, Android)
  • Genuine passion for technology and strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Helpdesk Requests: Provide first-level support to local and remote associates, aiding in resolution of technical problems.
  • Troubleshoot: Support troubleshooting efforts for hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and network connectivity issues under supervision.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions within the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively on large-scale projects and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
