Job Summary Evaluates customers' requirements. Reviews, evaluates, and assists sales department in development of product. Responsible for processing the orders in a timely manner. Responsible for creation of SolidWorks 3D model using various techniques. Responsible for creation of SolidWorks drawing. Responsible for creation of Quality Control form using SolidWorks Inspection. Implement changes to 3D models, drawings, quality control forms. Consults with Production Managers by gathering DATA required for 3D models and drawings. Maintains and updates a database, SolidWorks Library. Maintains communication with various departments within the company. Interpret, explain, and apply Lexco's rules, policies, and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher.
- Proficient in SolidWorks.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, caliper, micrometer, etc
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which after training provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Familiar with ISO.
- Requires knowledge of modern office practices and procedures including recordkeeping, computer applications, data entry, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with internal staff.
- Ability to work in a lead and independent capacity.
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in SolidWorks Inspection.
- Familiar with various Industrial Standards.
- Ability to use general business software.
