About The Position

Cargas is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to support customers using our proprietary software, Cargas Energy . In this role, youll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues by debugging SQL, JavaScript, and .NET code. This position blends technical problem-solving with a strong focus on delivering high-quality customer care.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (or a combination of education and relevant experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with SQL, .NET, JavaScript, databases, and related applications.
  • Customer-facing or technical support experience.
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and use available resources to find solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong listening, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience mentoring others in technical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate responses to customer support tickets.
  • Debug SQL procedures, JavaScript, and .NET code to identify and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot, configure, and monitor SQL Server performance; recommend improvements where appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities within the codebase to enhance stability and improve the customer experience.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base, including scripts, common fixes, and how-to documentation.
  • Develop practical workarounds for issues outside of Cargas control (e.g., hardware constraints).
  • Apply customer insights and awareness of emerging technologies to recommend product enhancements to the Product Development team.
