We have a career opportunity for a Technical Specialist III - Private Development - Construction Inspection to join our team! This position is reported through the Underground Engineering & Construction (UE&C) Department and supports the Private Development Team. The Private Development Team is responsible for oversight of planning, design, permitting, contracting, construction management, inspection, asset in-service notification, and closeout of private development projects associated with the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. This work is primarily field based on job sites. This position is an experienced intermediate-level water/wastewater technician. Under general supervision, the Technical Specialist III utilizes electronic applications, standards, and document control processes and procedures to create and modify project deliverables. The Technical Specialist III supports multiple construction projects of medium to high complexity, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements. In addition to providing technical expertise during construction, this role regularly interfaces with contractors, designers, engineers, consultants, other Citizens departments, and external agencies to resolve issues and support project delivery.
