Summer 2026 Internship Snapshot The Internship Program is a full-time (40 hours) opportunity that runs May 20 through August 14 In addition to your projects and tasks, New Era Interns will experience: Networking Opportunities Professional Development (i.e., workshops and learning sessions for résumé building and personal branding, job searching, public speaking, etc.) Community Service Day Team Building Day End-of-Internship Showcase to recognize your contributions and achievements The Opportunity at Hand The role of the Technical Sourcing Intern is an integral member of the Technical Sourcing team adding value through assisting with global headwear silhouette development, and global raw material development.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new system
  • Comfortable collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate professionally via phone, email, and in-person
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to respond quickly to changing circumstances
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to enhance existing processes and solutions
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive, with a track record of managing change with persistence and urgency
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program within Technical Design or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and PLM preferred
  • Interest in pattern making and textile manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

  • Learn and contribute toward measurement specification build to support bulk production and quality
  • Participate in building out a silhouette education document for company on boarding
  • Assist with measuring fit samples to support global supply chain allocations
  • Collaborate with sourcing, quality, product, and design to accurate information is listed on silhouette documents
  • Support all technical aspects of product development; including pattern, fit, construction, technical drawings for product in development and production
  • Research best practices in tech packing measurement specification for manufacturing of soft goods (focus in headwear)
  • Compile size chart information across entire silhouette library to analyze and compare each silhouette to avoid duplications
  • Organize physical silhouette library
  • Update PLM sampling tracking, size charts, Illustrator files as per instructions from manager
  • Plan and track developments to ensure timely completion, based on pre-determined timeline discussed with stake holders
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other projects as assigned
