Position Profile Full-Time, Exempt Reporting Relationships Technical Sourcing Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager. Major Duties and Responsibilities Supplier Research & Evaluation Research, screen, and evaluate potential suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and reliability. Vendor Negotiation Support Negotiating pricing & contracting with Procurement dep, Negotiating delivery terms, and technical requirements with suppliers Technical Review & Specification Verification Review technical specifications, drawings, and engineering requirements to ensure suppliers can meet the design intent Collaboration With Engineering & Quality Teams Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to make sure sourced components meet the project needs Supplier Quality & Documentation Review Review supplier documentation such as SOPs, CTQs, control plans, work instructions, and production processes to ensure compliance with technical requirements. Cost Reduction & Market Analysis Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier optimization, market analysis, and improved manufacturing methods Supply Chain Risk Management Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure stable delivery and quality. Supplier Relationship Management Maintain strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers, focusing on continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule Modifying 2D drawings using CAD software Document control (costumer’s submittal, internal documentation, drawing) Check the site situation based on drawing, finding issues Assist with general piping design using CAD software Provide regular updates to the customer on coordination progress Maintains regular and reliable attendance. This role is required to be onsite Obtain cost estimates and coordinate with suppliers Upholds and adheres to the Organo culture and Guiding Principles Exhibits positivity and flexibility when assigned a new task or project Provide broad support for general design tasks Education Mechanical engineering Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required Skills and Qualifications General experience in CAD software Strong Excel skills for data management and analysis Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical or structure or electric or CAD, logistic, procurement etc. Demonstrated computer literacy, required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, required +Ability to understand the designs of mechanical systems such as P&ID and Layout.
