About The Position

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within Doordash. We explore robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics in the long term. If you have a passion for applying autonomous technologies in a service used by millions of people, then we want to talk to you! This unique hybrid role combines technical sourcing with project management to elevate recruiting operations for DoorDash Labs. As a Technical Sourcer, you will partner with engineering leaders to identify and engage specialized talent for our robotics and autonomy initiatives, ideally, leveraging an established network to secure top candidates. As our project manager, you will optimize recruitment workflows. You will lead critical operational workstreams: partnering with the recruiting and engineering managers to organize the DoorDash Labs hiring plan, collaborate with finance and external partners on hiring data, and introduce interview best practices to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting within autonomy, robotics, or a similarly niche engineering field.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to organize hiring plans, track data with Finance, and drive operational improvements.
  • Analytical approach to recruiting, using data and market insights to partner with leadership and refine interview best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and organization with the confidence to manage stakeholders across engineering, finance, and external partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing for DoorDash Labs by leveraging a new and existing network(s) in autonomy and robotics to identify and engage specialized engineering talent.
  • Deliver high-caliber talent pipelines for niche domains like computer vision and motion planning, ensuring candidates are thoroughly vetted for technical alignment.
  • Manage operational hiring workstreams by partnering with recruiting and engineering managers to track the hiring plan, budget, and data accuracy across finance and external partners.
  • Drive process improvement projects by designing and implementing interview best practices and scalable workflows that optimize the recruitment lifecycle and candidate journey.
