We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to join our People Team! This is a 9-month fixed term opportunity and can be based in our Santa Monica, Seattle, Bellevue or New York office. Requirements

  • Ability to engage and activate passive candidates via internet sourcing techniques
  • Knowledge of diversity partnerships to help network with, nurture, and hire diverse talent
  • Ability to effectively screen for technical competencies and values via phone screens
  • Ability to tackle challenging problems
  • Ability to understand technical skills, target companies, the industry landscape, and conferences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Phenomenal customer service skills
  • Skill in analyzing and organizing data and tracking metrics
  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and operating at speed and with urgency
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year of recruiting experience or related field

  • Experience recruiting or sourcing for security and/or machine learning engineering teams
  • Experience working at a fast-paced agency or tech start up
  • Experience hiring for hard-to-fill positions
  • Experience developing and/or improving interview processes alongside business leaders

Responsibilities

  • Provide front end (finding, sourcing, and phone screening) and high-touch sourcing support for security, machine learning, and research teams
  • Provide front end (finding, sourcing, and phone screening), high volume recruiting support for our Software Engineering, machine learning, and business and corporate teams
  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of roles, team functions, and how they fit into the broader Snap Inc. organization
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline and help fill the highest priority hiring needs for the company
  • Use hiring metrics to develop and execute on new and more efficient sourcing solutions
  • Attend recruiting conferences and events and aid in post-event outreach
  • Help recruiters review inbound resumes
  • Provide strong and positive experience to Snap candidates
  • Operate as sourcing maven, who is able to find untapped talent outside traditional means (LinkedIn)
  • Engage top talent with your personalized approach
