About The Position

Vast is looking for a Technical Sourcer II (Fixed Term), reporting to the Manager of Talent Sourcing, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and engaging the engineers who will design, build, and launch the next generation of human-rated space systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your technical recruiting expertise, partner closely with hiring teams, and influence how we attract world-class talent in one of the most ambitious industries on Earth. This will be a full-time, 6 month fixed term position located in our Long Beach location.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a technical sourcer or a similar talent acquisition role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent across a variety of engineering disciplines
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive and active candidates to support current and future hiring needs
  • Engage prospective candidates through thoughtful outreach, sharing Vast’s mission and inspiring interest in our work
  • Conduct initial candidate screens and exploratory conversations to assess technical alignment, experience, and motivation
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and translate them into effective sourcing plans
  • Track and manage candidate activity to ensure a high-quality, consistent talent pipeline
