About The Position

As a Technical Solutions Specialist for our solar energy company, you will be responsible for providing technical support, developing innovative solutions, and optimizing system performance for residential and commercial solar projects. This role involves working closely with engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure the successful design, installation, and maintenance of solar systems. Your goal will be to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and technical excellence while supporting continuous improvement in operations and processes.

A successful candidate must be able to:

Provide technical support to resolve complex solar energy system issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, and project management) to develop and implement technical solutions.
Assist with system troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization to minimize downtime and maximize energy production.
Contribute to the design and review of solar PV systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Support internal staff and external partners through technical training initiatives to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
Analyze system data and provide actionable insights to improve system design, performance, and reliability.
Work with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales and post-sales processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in solar energy systems, with a focus on technical support, system design, or project management.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, energy storage solutions, and grid integration.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., NEC, UL, IEEE) and local regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with design and analysis software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

• NABCEP certification or equivalent is preferred.
