Primary Focus Solution Design (build solutions) - develop a detailed solution design the incudes all the necessary components and recommended hardware, software, and services. This may include enabling the TSS associates to grow technology sales while maintaining vendor relations to drive focused results.

Requirements

• Formal college education or 3-5 years' experience with technology products preferred.
• Foundational understanding of technical information.
• Effective communication with multiple levels of customers.
• Ability to follow direction and take initiative as required.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and take constructive criticism as an opportunity to advance/improve.
• Ability to drive results as an individual contributor that may need to assist others to achieve similar results within the SD&S contact center.
• General proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.
• 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales configuration and solution design for Dell server/storage products.
• Experience with Dell configuration tools and enterprise storage architectures.
• Dell server/storage certifications (Dell EMC Proven Professional or similar) preferred
• A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1-year position specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, the partners, and (as possible) the end-clients to gather and analyze the customers' requirements. This includes security requirements, budgetary constraints, time-to-implement, and other business and technical needs.
• Identify and evaluations solution options that would meet these requirements.
• Develop detailed solution designs and present them to the partners.
• Be resource for the partners to present the solution to the end-users (if necessary).
