Job Title Technical Solutions Consultant What does a great Technical Solutions Consultant do at Fiserv? You will be charged with providing SME and technical expertise for sales opportunities surrounding our merchant services business. You will be responsible for developing and analyzing solutions to include Fiserv and 3rd party tools, products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
  • 7 years of experience in, technical support, implementation, and/or product development with strong consultative and strategic sales support skill sets.
  • 7 years of experience in electronic payments services and technology solutions.
  • Familiar with functions of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • 7 years demonstrated experience in the Merchant/Issuer line of business.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought-leadership, and technical-excellence, in the sales and hand off to delivery of complex solutions encompassing multiple products and services.
  • Provide enterprise-level consultation to clients, proactively driving value-based technical solutions and capabilities, and boosting competition displacement on strategic sales engagements.
  • Development of value-based proposals and technical architecture of proposed solutions.
  • Where applicable, lead customers through detailed software demonstrations of Security and Fraud solutions
  • Document proposal of solution including technical design, potential implementation phases and work streams.
  • Facilitate internal and external technical customer meetings to validate discovery and solutions, ensure smooth transition to servicing teams, and maintain consistent communication and messaging
  • Contribute consultative solution input for RFPs and develop and document transaction solution flows
  • Review and confirm proposed solutions to ensure client technical requirements are aligned and identify future commercial recommendations
  • Facilitate technical discussions between product, platform experts, sales, and client representatives and assist implementations during client boarding process.
