As a USH intern, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with leaders, attend professional development workshops, and learn from industry experts - all while gaining real-world experience. Your internship begins with your key project assignment and concludes with a final presentation of your results to members of Senior Leadership. This internship offers hands-on experience, professional development, and an inside look at how organized processes and teamwork bring world-class attractions to life.

Requirements

  • Must be actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution, or must be a recent graduate (internship within six months of graduation date).
  • Current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, documents, and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and interest in how large-scale projects come together in a theme park environment.
  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, California.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, & holidays.
  • Must be willing to submit a background check investigation. An official educational transcript may be required upon request.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
  • For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
  • Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete an I-9 form within 3 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Rising Junior, rising Senior, or recent graduate preferred.
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above. Specific departments may require a higher GPA.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-start and streamline.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional communication at all levels.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
  • Experience supporting teams through administrative or coordination tasks, either from previous internships or class projects.
  • Interest in themed entertainment, engineering, or construction environments.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs, and offer creative solutions to keep projects moving smoothly.
