Role Overview: We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled individual to join the Onshape Technical Services team. The ideal candidate is articulate and experienced in delivering engaging product demonstrations. You will collaborate with a fast-paced, in-office team at the PTC HQ in Boston's Seaport District, supporting our sales efforts by showcasing our product to potential new customers. This role demands a strong understanding of engineering applications (CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, FEA, etc.) and the ability to effectively communicate our product's unique features. You will play a crucial role in introducing a next-generation product design platform to a broader audience. This role requires a 3-day per week in-office minimum.

Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical CAD software (Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX, etc.)
  • Experience in delivering product demonstrations.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex customer requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or a technical equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and familiarity with PDM or PLM products (SOLIDWORKS PDM, Windchill, Autodesk Vault, Siemens Teamcenter)
  • Experience with engineering software such as CAM, FEA/CFD, ECAD.

Responsibilities

  • Master our product and become an expert user.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to deliver exceptional product demonstrations.
  • Act as a product expert, addressing questions from customers and prospects.
  • Develop technical product-related marketing content.
  • Expand our ever-growing library of demonstration content.
  • Liaise with the development team to relay feature requests from customers and prospects.
  • Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
