About The Position

The Technical Services Assistant supports the management of repair, and preparation of spare parts and equipment used in current and emerging technologies within Sexed Semen Laboratories. This role plays a critical part of minimizing equipment downtown by ensuring components are repaired, tested, and ready for shipment to domestic and international centers. Requirements

  • Associates degree with focus in engineering

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing processes to repair and prepare spare parts and equipment for shipment.
  • Work with electronic components, including measurement, physical replacement, soldering, and testing (includes exposure to high-voltage systems).
  • Support fluidic system component replacement, measurement, and evaluation.
  • Maintain and prepare laser performance optimization and mechanical components to support field engineers with issues for rapid replacement.
  • Repair, replace, and test computer system components (hardware and software).
  • Prepare and ship spare parts domestically and internationally.
