Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Specialist for our West Milton precast facility. The ideal candidate has demonstrated drafting experience, the ability to effectively interface with external customers, create quotes, process orders and collaborate internally with the production team.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, and Google workspace
• Understanding of, or ability to learn, PCI standards, precast concrete manufacturing, precast concrete applications and construction drawings.
• Ability to interpret technical sketches, blueprints and engineer specifications accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to streamline processes.
• Strong mathematical abilities, attention to detail and ability to interpret complex blueprints.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in precast concrete or a related manufacturing field is preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete materials, their properties, and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute structural calculations and design of precast concrete elements
• Designs, develops, and modifies and evaluates drawings using SolidWorks
• Creates accurate drawings, plans and specifications for precast production to meet industry design standards
• Maintain organized digital files of all drawings for easy access and version control.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Prepare and execute right first time order processing to ensure operational excellence and schedule accuracy adherence for on time delivery.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Other duties as assigned
