About The Position

FINDIQ... ... is a fast-growing German scale-up currently expanding further into the US market. We are on a mission to lead the generational shift in the service of industrial machinery and equipment. To achieve this, we are building the first AI-powered knowledge platform that enables companies – from medium-sized machine manufacturers to global enterprises – to pass on the expertise of today’s service specialists to the next generation. We launched in early 2022 in our home region and have been growing rapidly on an international scale ever since. In order to further that growth in the US market, we are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a focus on Presales . The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in the United States . Requirements

  • A technical background, ideally in mechanical engineering or industrial machinery service.
  • Experience in technical pre-sales, including an understanding of solution validation and test phases in the customer journey.
  • Strong ability to explain the value of software solutions and communicate benefits clearly.
  • Practical experience in or strong interest in the field of industrial machinery and equipment service.
  • Experience with or enthusiasm for working in a tech startup.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, workshops and industry events.
  • Excellent English skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our sales team with technical expertise and guiding customers through the entire pre-sales phase.
  • Conducting technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, workflows and challenges.
  • Presenting our solution in demos, workshops and webinars as well as building and presenting customer-specific demos.
  • Validating solutions and running test phases or proof-of-value activities until rollout.
  • Collaborating closely with product development and customer success.
  • Supporting marketing activities such as creating materials or participating in trade shows and events.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our demo environments.
