About The Position

As a Technical Services Representative with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will report to the Area or District Technical Services Manager and are responsible for ensuring the quality of the concrete products for assigned plants and jobsites.

Requirements

High school diploma required (strong math skills).
A minimum of 1–year of experience operating equipment (e.g., forklifts).
Strong communication and basic computer skills (MS Office preferred).
Customer-focused with strong teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Concrete testing experience preferred, or equivalent education.
Ability to obtain ACI Level 1 Field, Strength, and Aggregate Testing certifications.

Responsibilities

Monitor and adjust mix designs based on raw material changes, ensuring plant compliance.
Conduct spot checks on specifications such as weights, water demand, slump, air content, yield, and materials at plants and job sites.
Perform concrete testing in plant and field; adjust admixtures and water as needed to optimize production.
Observe and document activities of testing agencies and contractors affecting product quality.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, inspectors, agencies, and internal teams.
Keep daily logs, report issues, address product misuse, and escalate concerns to management.
Regularly input and track statistical data.
Investigate quality/quantity complaints and document corrective actions.
Promote safety and maintain clean, organized lab and plant environments.
