About The Position

Plateau GRP is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to support the growth of our government contracting programs. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across a variety of technical and professional roles supporting federal programs. The Technical Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify, attract, and hire top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience. This position will be based out of our Fairfax, VA office and will play a key role in scaling our workforce to meet mission needs. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting within the government contracting environment, understand the nuances of hiring candidates with security clearances, and be comfortable managing multiple requisitions simultaneously. This is an onsite role in Fairfax, VA.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably within the government contracting industry.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical roles supporting federal programs.
  • Familiarity with recruiting candidates who possess active or eligible security clearances.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage recruiting workflows.
  • Strong candidate sourcing skills using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for federal government contracts or cleared programs.
  • Experience using Paylocity ATS or similar HRIS/ATS platforms.
  • Understanding of government contracting labor categories and proposal staffing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical requirements, and program timelines.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify candidates with technical skills and security clearances for federal programs.
  • Maintain and track candidate activity within the company Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with government contracting hiring requirements.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired roles such as engineers, developers, architects, program managers, and other cleared professionals.
  • Coordinate interview logistics and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience.
  • Work collaboratively with People Operations on onboarding and hiring process improvements.
  • Support employer branding and outreach efforts including job boards, networking, and referrals.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.
