Citrin Cooperman is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our in-house Talent Acquisition team to focus on recruiting for key technical roles within our Corporate IT function. This is a contractual position (W2) for approximately 4-6 months. This role can sit anywhere in the US with the strong preference to work EST hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience recruiting in professional services, consulting, or technology‑driven environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles such as software engineering, data science, AI, cloud, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to interpret technical job descriptions and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing full‑cycle recruitment for technical positions.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and recruitment technologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices in candidate assessment and interviewing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging candidates and advising hiring managers.
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating recruiting data and market trends.
  • Negotiation skills for closing offers and managing candidate expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development Source and attract candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and networking channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified technical candidates across software engineering, data, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT operations roles.
  • Develop sourcing strategies tailored to niche technical skill sets and industry needs.
  • Screening & Evaluation Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess technical fit, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Evaluate candidates’ technical competencies in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Hiring Manager & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with hiring managers to understand complex technical requirements and role expectations.
  • Provide market insights, candidate feedback, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Recruitment Process Management Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement Track recruiting metrics and provide updates on pipeline health and hiring progress.
  • Recommend improvements to sourcing strategies, processes, and tools.
