We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter (Contract) to accelerate our recruiting efforts across Engineering, Product, AI and Data Science. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our recruiters, sourcers, and hiring managers to drive thoughtful, high-quality assessments and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a strong focus on software engineering and product management roles.
  • Experience in a consumer tech company or similar tech environment.
  • A proven ability to fill hard-to-hire roles.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with both candidates and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities with ease.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools like Greenhouse, Gem and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • An impressive Duolingo streak!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Duolingo recruiters and sourcers to shape and execute engineering and product recruiting strategies, ensuring alignment across roles and functions.
  • Work with hiring managers to build thoughtful assessment processes and develop hiring strategies that attract and close exceptional talent.
  • Be a champion of candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects Duolingo’s values.
  • Use recruiting data to measure progress and identify blockers and opportunities. Leverage insights to drive smarter recruiting and hiring decisions.
