TRUMPF, a global leader in industrial machine tools, is looking for a Technical Quoting Specialist to support and grow our press brake tooling sales. This is a full-time onsite position offering a qualified candidate the opportunity to collaborate closely with a team of experts to provide customers with specialized solutions to fabricate their products. What You’ll Do As an Engineering Sales Specialist, you’ll work with our customers, the sales team, and our tooling engineers. You'll bring technical expertise and excellent communication skills to every interaction — ensuring our customers get the best tooling solutions for their needs.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in sheet metal fabrication and a customer-first mindset.
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, especially in tooling for forming, and bending applications strongly desired.
• Ability to conceptualize punch & die designs based on customer requirements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD files, and product specs.
• Strong communication skills — both verbal and written — with a solution-oriented approach.
• A minimum of 2 years of technical experience in tooling or sheet metal fabrication required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SolidWorks, SAP, and MS Excel is preferred.
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications and drawing files to ensure feasibility.
• Provide detailed technical quotations for CNC press brake tooling.
• Collaborate with internal and sales teams to deliver accurate pricing and lead times for custom tooling.
• Engage directly with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand requirements and provide custom tooling solutions.
• Calculate load requirements and verify product specifications to ensure tooling meets TRUMPF and customer standards.
