Requirements

  • Journeyman Industrial Mechanic certification or 5 plus years of detailed experience with rotating equipment.
  • Proven experience in coordinating technical projects, with a focus on the repair and maintenance of rotating equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment and associated equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills are important to the success of this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is a must.
  • Attention to accurate details and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards. API standards

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent education

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate projects related to the repair and maintenance of rotating equipment along with other functional equipment as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Leverage expertise in the repair, maintenance, and guidance support to project teams, overseeing assembly/part design, fabrication and completion of projects.
  • Collaborate and work with internal team members to help put together quotes for jobs as needed.
  • Effectively manage resources, to optimize project efficiency.
  • Coordinate with customers, internal Opps teams and external vendors as needed to drive projects.
  • Responsible for the sourcing and ordering of tools and materials required to complete jobs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and technical specifications.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and milestones.
  • Follow a quality assurance process to guarantee the highest standards in the repair and maintenance of reciprocating equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and audits as necessary.
  • Prepare work instruction packages for inspections to be completed on equipment.
  • Along with data evaluation and repair recommendations as needed.
