About The Position

The Project Manager for Molding Technology and Service Areas is responsible for the planning and execution of capacity expansions involving plastic injection molding in the Americas region. Job Description Lead the Molding Technology and Service Areas implementation for the Richmond LEGO® Manufacturing site under the guidelines of the LEGO® Project Model. Ensure coherence and collaboration during the project across technology platforms within Engineering, Operations and Machine Safety departments by building relationships with all key team members locally and globally. Work closely with global platform owners and technology managers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation. Apply innovative perspective to identify and support improvements on machines, equipment and processes in collaboration with relevant technology platform owners. Lead other Manufacturing Design and Implementation projects. Play your part in the Team Exceeding As a part of the Manufacturing Design & Implementation organization, the Project Manager should be able to drive complex manufacturing and engineering streams with a high focus on collaboration, delivery and alignment with budget. “None of us is as smart as all of us” Do you have what it takes? Bachelor of Science or other academic degree related to engineering or project management within a technical field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Demonstrated history of leading manufacturing technology projects in a large-scale manufacturing facility. Proven experience in automation projects to include managing suppliers of equipment and machinery. Financial skills applied to budgeting and cost analysis. Ability to travel internationally 50 – 60 days a year. (divided in several trips). Previous experience working with SAP is preferred. Preference to experience within the plastic injection molding industry. PMP® and/or other project management-related certifications preferred. Join our Team! Compensation The salary for this position has a range of $115,803.00 - $173,705.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
