About The Position

Technical Project Manager The Opportunity: An effective program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle and understands the technical aspects of the systems under development. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That’s why we need a seasoned technical project manager like you who can ensure our programs achieve success. As a Technical Project Manager on our team, you will work directly with clients and an integrated, multi-functional team to develop new process manufacturing projects and refine existing systems to counter unique mission sets. You will focus on the full lifecycle of projects from initial concept design through testing and eventual deployment. You will be responsible for the proactive identification of project risks, assess quantitative data, develop presentations and dashboards to communicate project status to sponsors, manage project budgets, develop and track detailed schedules, monitor and manage scope change, assess risk and facilitate mitigation plans, and manage stakeholder communications. You will leverage your engineering mindset to lead cross-functional teams of engineers and your excellent communication and project management skills to drive important capital projects forward on time and on budget. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing process plant design, construction, and modernization
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Experience with project management and development, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks leading to successful product development
  • Experience executing unique requirements necessary for facility and equipment renovations in a chemical synthesis, polymer, process, or high-hazard manufacturing environment
  • Experience with technical writing and editing
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing and interpreting statements of work and subcontracts
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or Power BI
  • Experience with risk management
