About The Position

Speedrun is Andreessen Horowitz’s flagship program that invests in new startups and partners with founders to inflect their growth with full-stack operational support. We run two batches per year, working with 150+ companies annually. As the program scales, the systems behind it must scale too. The Technical Project Manager will build and maintain the infrastructure that powers speedrun’s operations and the founder journey from applicant to alumni. This role blends product thinking, operational excellence, and technical curiosity. You’ll turn manual workflows into software-driven systems that make speedrun faster, smarter, and more connected. This role requires an in-office presence 5 days a week in our San Francisco, CA office.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, systems design, or technical program operations
  • Fluent in workflow and automation tools such as airtable, zapier, slack api, and related data systems
  • Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or lightweight products for operational teams
  • Translate ambiguous needs into clear, scalable technical solutions
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with tight feedback loops
  • Thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments and enjoy shipping quickly
  • Collaborative and curious, with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Low ego, high empathy, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize the internal stack you’ll own and evolve the tools that run speedrun—airtable, notion, slack, zapier, and other workflow automations
  • Design for scalability you’ll develop systems that enable a consistent, data-driven founder experience across cohorts, automating repetitive tasks and streamlining team operations
  • Turn operations into product you’ll collaborate across program ops, alumni, marketing, and content to translate team needs into scalable products and integrations
  • Integrate data systems you’ll connect information flows between tools to maintain clean, reliable data for tracking companies, engagement, and outcomes
  • Prototype and ship you’ll experiment quickly, testing internal tools and dashboards that improve visibility, coordination, and reporting
  • Document and maintain you’ll establish clear documentation, onboarding, and system ownership so the infrastructure behind speedrun can evolve and improve with each batch
