We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to provide strategic and execution leadership for a complex, multi-disciplinary engineering engagement focused on EV charging infrastructure diagnostics, error-code standardization, standards validation, DFMEA analysis, and development of a sharable EVSE Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) framework. This role carries full accountability for SOW execution, serving as the senior point of authority for scope, schedule, technical coordination, data governance, compliance, risk management, and executive communication. The Senior TPM will operate as a trusted partner to engineering and standards stakeholders, ensuring delivery of a technically rigorous, evidence-based diagnostic framework that supports long-term product health and industry interoperability. This position requires deep technical fluency, executive presence, and a proven ability to lead large, standards-driven engineering programs with formal governance and high visibility.

  • Own and deliver all SOW sections with senior-level accountability, quality, and governance.
  • Provide strategic oversight across technical, data, standards, and compliance workstreams.
  • Anticipate risks, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and drive executive-level decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering execution and long-term product health and standards strategy.
  • Establish and lead the overall program governance model, cadence, and reporting structure.
  • Own the integrated master schedule, budget tracking, and delivery commitments.
  • Serve as the escalation point for scope, schedule, technical, and compliance risks.
  • Lead executive reviews, milestone gates, and formal approvals.
  • Provide senior oversight across all technical domains, including: Aggregated EVSE fault data analytics and normalization Validation of IEC 61851-23 pass/fail thresholds using real-world evidence Development of new, empirically derived pass/fail thresholds DFMEA development and failure mode prioritization EVSE DTC framework architecture aligned with SAE, ISO, and CHARIN standards
  • Challenge assumptions, ensure technical rigor, and validate engineering conclusions.
  • Ensure interoperability and scalability of the diagnostic framework.
  • Act as the senior interface to partner engineering, research, and executive stakeholders.
  • Influence alignment across organizations with differing priorities and constraints.
  • Facilitate complex technical and strategic discussions to drive consensus and decisions.
  • Represent the program in standards, diagnostics, and product health forums as needed.
  • Define, enforce, and evolve RASIC ownership across all tasks and deliverables.
  • Ensure accountability across engineering, data science, compliance, and validation teams.
  • Resolve cross-functional execution gaps and dependency risks.
  • Set and enforce data governance standards across all deliverables.
  • Ensure all data transfers meet contractual, security, and formatting requirements.
  • Validate data traceability from raw field evidence through final analytical outputs.
  • Ensure data supports defensible technical and regulatory conclusions.
  • Proactively identify program-level risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Own the formal issue notification and resolution process.
  • Approve corrective action plans and drive issues to formal closure.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with contractual boundaries.
  • Provide senior oversight for compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure export control classification and disclosure requirements are met.
  • Confirm open-source compliance posture and documentation.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet formal documentation, language, and audit requirements.
  • Deliver executive-ready program updates, dashboards, and milestone reports.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality documentation across all technical outputs.
  • Oversee development and delivery of final program documentation and summary materials.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex technical or engineering programs.
  • Demonstrated success as a Senior TPM or Program Manager on large, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of: EV and EVSE systems and architectures Diagnostic frameworks, error codes, and DTC development Engineering validation, testing, and DFMEA methodologies
  • Proven experience managing standards-driven or regulatory-heavy programs.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Track record of owning delivery in high-visibility, high-accountability environments.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs, infrastructure providers, or standards bodies.
  • Familiarity with IEC 61851, SAE J2012, ISO 14229, and CHARIN standards.
  • Background in EV charging infrastructure, telematics, or product health analytics.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent advanced project management certification.
