MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Technical Project Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in supporting an Intelligence customer in Chantilly, Virginia responsible for the schedule and technical performance of company program from inception through completion. Serves as the primary contact for the program on matters pertaining to the project. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your project management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Technical Project Manager will: Provide oversight into the installation and maintenance of wireless intrusion detection systems at a government client. Displaying a solid understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices as well as a familiarity with installation procedures, cabling, and troubleshooting. Experience and understanding of an Enterprise Risk Management Framework (RMF) workflow management tool managing RMF steps to perform assessment and authorization, data and analytics to fulfill cybersecurity compliance, reporting and monitoring, as applicable. Demonstrated experience managing the Request For Change (RFC) processes, Project Change Requests (PCRs) and Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) from initiation to completion. Familiarity with processes for Facility, HW, Networks, Operations, Rack/Power/Cooling, Schedule, SW, and Testing. Coordination with government and contract site leads for integration, internal and external documentation including Authority to Operate (ATO) and IATT. Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits. Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program areas including technical work, financial and future business development activities. Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation. Contributes to the profitability and revenue growth of assigned program. Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables. Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, technical documentation and other program documents. Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested. Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards. Participates in special projects as required. The Technical Project Manager must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
