At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Software Developer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service. GDIT is seeking highly cleared candidates with active TS SCI w/Poly to provide software development, engineering, database design in support of enterprise-wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community (IC). Work with the latest commercial products such as AWS in an agile environment on various applications designed and maintained for broad range IC customers.

  • Demonstrated hands on experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, and proficiency in building reusable UI components
  • Strong understanding of UI design principles, human computer interaction, and user experience (UX) best practices
  • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, with a focus on building responsive and interactive UI components
  • Familiarity with UI development tools such as Angular, HTML, Material and CSS preprocessors like Sass
  • Experience with building and consuming RESTful API's and integrating them with UI components
  • Strong understanding of UI performance optimization techniques, such as code splitting, lazy loading and caching
  • Experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with designing and implementing UI components that interact with backend services, such as AWS services (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB)
  • 8 + years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Experience with UI testing framework such as Jest, Cypress, Karma, Jasmine
  • Familiarity with UI design systems and style guides, such as Material-UI or Bootstrap
  • Experience with building and maintaining complex, data-driven UI components
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices for building accessible UI components
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD
  • Experience with working on a large-scale complex UI codebase
  • Experience with other frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js
  • Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Python or Node.js
  • Experience with AWS services such as EKS and Step Functions
