About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent hands-on maritime experience)
  • 5+ years managing technical or engineering projects in maritime, expedition, cruise, offshore, or commercial vessel operations
  • Experience working closely with shipboard teams and comfort operating in dynamic field environments
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and class requirements (USCG, ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s, flag state)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel to vessels, offices, shipyards, and remote locations as required

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of technical projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and documentation
  • Collaborate with shipboard engineers, captains, and shoreside teams to align project outcomes with operational needs
  • Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work meets quality, safety, and sustainability standards
  • Apply maritime engineering knowledge to support system upgrades, regulatory compliance, and vessel improvements
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and environmental impact reduction
  • Maintain compliance with USCG, class society, flag state, and environmental regulations
  • Ensure accurate project reporting, budget tracking, and data integrity in company systems
