About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will lead strategic supply chain initiatives for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of delivering strategic insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior leaders across Blue Origin. The Vertical Integration Strategy & Execution group is responsible for leading strategic cross functional projects to guide high value and high impact decisions across the supply chain. This role will be responsible for digging into the specific challenges of a process and communicating the relevant information for senior leadership evaluation. Strong analytical, operational, and communication skills are necessary for success in this role. Potential projects include in-source versus outsource strategic and financial analysis, technical capability cost-benefit analysis, inventory strategy evaluation, process document authoring, enterprise software requirements management, creating strategic business processes, chartering the tool sets necessary to launch them and other ad hoc cross-functional strategic projects. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Requirements

  • Passion for our mission and vision: Millions of people living and working in space!
  • Capable of leading and presenting cross-functional initiatives for senior leaders
  • Proven success owning and driving a project from start to finish
  • Led quantitative and qualitative projects
  • Demonstrated success in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MBA, other relevant graduate degree, or 5+ years operations/supply chain experience
