Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer/Technical Project Manager to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background coupled with network engineering background, as well as experience with network vendor products (i.e. Cisco, Palo Alto, Sonicwall, etc.).   • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline and 6 years of IT related experience is required.
  • 5 years of additional IT related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, totaling 11 years of IT related experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the Information Technology field is required.
  • Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
  • Experience in at least two (2) of the following areas: Network troubleshooting Routers/switches Cisco IOS/Junos OS Firewalls Hubs/Bridges/gateways Network packet investigation/analysis tools Database tools
  • Experience leading medium to large complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.
  • Ability to perform elaborate analyses and studies and prepare reports and give presentations
  • Experience performing DDI (Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and IP Address Management (IPAM)) for critical network infrastructure services.
  • Experience supporting MultiCloud Fabric (MCF) infrastructure .
  • Cloud engineering and modernization experience.
