About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented university student to join our team for an internship. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an introductory level of understanding of engineering project management principles. The Technical Project Management Intern will be responsible for coordinating project activities, facilitating communication among team members, and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects in conjunction with a seasoned Technical Project Manager. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to assist our project management team in delivering high-quality baggage handling solutions (BHS). This internship offers the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop valuable skills in project management, logistics, and operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Introductory skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of project tasks related to baggage handling systems.
  • Support project managers in monitoring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting notes minutes.
  • Participate in project meetings, taking notes and tracking action items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Help identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
