About The Position

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving complex, cross functional initiatives from concept to delivery. This role combines strategic planning, technical understanding, and strong project leadership to ensure programs are executed efficiently, meet organizational goals, and deliver high-quality outcomes. TPM serves as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership, ensuring alignment, transparency, and predictable execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent technical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering project management, or similar roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multiteam technical programs.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and modern project management tools.
  • Background in data platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or application development.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or PgMP.
  • Experience working in cross functional or matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of largescale technical programs.
  • Develop program roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate work across engineering, product, data, and operations teams.
  • Identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable engineering plans.
  • Ensure stakeholders remain informed through clear reporting and status updates.
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize work and allocate resources.
  • Understand system architecture, integrations, and technical constraints well enough to guide decisions and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Support teams in breaking down complex problems into manageable components.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in delivery, testing, and engineering operations.
  • Build and refine operational processes that improve team efficiency and program predictability.
  • Champion continuous improvement across project management, documentation, and workflow.
  • Implement frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
  • Track and report on KPIs, program health, and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure programs meet timeline, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct postmortems and drive follow-through on action items.
