About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate complex technical initiatives across engineering, product, and operations teams in a fully remote environment. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end program execution, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with exceptional program management and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system architecture
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree or PMP, PgMP, or Scrum certification
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Background in software engineering or technical leadership
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure programs
- Prior experience working in fully remote or global teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define program scope, objectives, and timelines
- Manage project roadmaps, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams
- Drive Agile and/or Scrum processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery
- Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
- Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Track and report program performance metrics, KPIs, and progress updates
- Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making
- Oversee documentation of program plans, processes, and outcomes
