About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact cybersecurity programs focused on threat detection and detection engineering. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 3+ years leading large-scale Detection Engineering programs
• Technical Program Manager or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or technology-focused environments
• Familiarity with AI-driven workflows, Agentic AI concepts, and their integration into security operations
• Technical expertise in threat detection, intelligence, response, and prevention methodologies
• Strong project management skills with a proven record of successfully leading complex projects
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, CISSP, Splunk Certification)
• Ability to manage ambiguous requirements and navigate challenges to achieve program objectives
• Experience coordinating incident investigation workflows and cross-functional communications
• Proficiency in tracking activities across Security Operations workflows and monitoring project outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale threat detection and cybersecurity projects
• Collaborate with security engineers, software developers, and IT operations to define project scope, requirements, and objectives
• Integrate emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, Splunk, Cribl, Exabeam, and Google SecOps, to enhance detection engineering workflows
• Develop automations and Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency
• Manage project risks, resolve ambiguities, and ensure successful, on-time, on-budget project delivery
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and exploration of new cybersecurity methodologies
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, providing transparency and enabling informed decision-making
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and threats to ensure proactive, forward-looking threat detection strategies
