We are developing a robust Identity Security program to secure internal services supporting our customer-facing products, focusing on non-human identities, shared accounts, privileged access, and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA). We seek a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with the technical expertise to connect security standards with practical implementation, driving these initiatives while collaborating with Product Security, Compliance, IT, and Engineering teams to accelerate adoption and ensure scalable, modern identity solutions. The TPM will join our Security Compliance team. This is a hybrid role, reporting in the San Jose, CA office 3 days a week. Reporting to the Director, Information Security Compliance, you'll be responsible for:

Requirements

  • 8+ years of expertise in technical program management, IAM/security engineering, or program delivery for security/compliance
  • Strong grasp of IAM concepts, including OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, PKI, secrets management, non-human identities, and privileged access
  • Familiarity with IGA platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Hashicorp Vault and app/service onboarding practices
  • Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams; experience with lightweight automation/tools is advantageous
  • Demonstrated skill in simplifying technical concepts, driving cross-functional programs, and developing scalable enablement materials

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Product Manager or Development Lead on complex Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives
  • Experience with product-focused companies, emphasizing internal resilience, scalability, and security
  • Background in consulting as an architect, with broad exposure to various IAM implementations

Responsibilities

  • Executing Identity Security Initiatives: Drive key programs like non-human identity lifecycle, privileged access management, and IGA onboarding by coordinating across Product Security, and Engineering teams
  • Accelerating Delivery: Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders and IT to validate solutions, integrate systems, and break down complex projects into continuous delivery for faster adoption
  • Streamlining Processes: Operationalize identity security standards into practical workflows, integration patterns, and scalable processes, while enhancing credential rotation and onboarding efficiency
  • Enabling App & Service Onboarding: Simplify onboarding of applications and services into IGA workflows and support transitions away from static credentials
  • Improving Documentation & Alignment: Develop clear project plans, JIRA tickets, and technical guides while maintaining stakeholder alignment across Product Security, Compliance and Engineering
