About The Position

The Technical Program Management Intern will help bring to life the next generation of vehicles by taking a leading role in managing the integration of Hardware and Software through the Development Life Cycle. As part of the Software Technical Program Management Team, the intern will be responsible for collaborating with Electrical Hardware, Test and Development, New Product Introduction, and Product Development teams to plan, develop, and manage integration test assets to support software deliverables for program milestones.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited US university.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

  • Actively pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field with the intent to return to school following completion of internship.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering principles.
  • Experience with test and validation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall development process using Jira and other program management tools.
  • Understanding of hardware/software bring-up of distributed systems, managing project dependencies, and negotiating parallel activities to optimize project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting technical teams in scoping and planning test asset needs using a systems engineering approach.
  • Supporting the prioritization of components for test assets based on software delivery milestones, technical risk, and complexity.
  • Aiding in software-hardware integration efforts across the organization during development activities.
  • Helping to coordinate verification test plans.
  • Tracking and helping to drive technical issues to closure within the software organization.
  • Providing the programs and management teams with progress updates.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvements and supporting their execution.
