A typical day may look like this: Ensure all tooling released to production meets customer’s requirements Routine, basic inspection of tooling Assist with tooling performance checks Works with engineers to determine tooling needs Troubleshooting of issues relating to product application Application support of new products Improve existing processes and applications by reviewing objectives and specifications Recommend changes and make modifications to tooling, applications and processes of machining as needed Support of reconditioning program Facilitation of manufacturer visits and the introduction of their products to the customer Facilitate corrective action program Performs other duties as assigned by Management 50% Sitting 40% Standing 10% Walking Lifting up to 40 lbs.
