Technical Product Owner, Personalization Overview The Technical Product Owner builds products from concept to launch by connecting business and technical needs. You will drive Personalization roadmap initiatives across the North American business, translating complex problems into scalable customer experience features. This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are delivered at the right time and align with our long-term digital and data strategy. What you do Serve as the voice of the end user while translating business and technical needs into clear requirements, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for release of new customer experiences. Deliver Personalization product roadmap – planning, prioritizing, and driving execution of deliverables aligned with Product Management and overall program milestones. Work with the Product Managers, Business Owners, Business Stakeholders to understand the needs, understand the domain, scope and provide clear requirements for the Team. Take ownership of Development Team outcomes – setting priorities, managing risks and dependencies, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Maintain and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, estimated, prioritized, and aligned with both short-term deliverables and long-term architectural goals. Facilitate cross-team collaboration and dependency management across systems, teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Ensure technical integrity and production readiness of delivered solutions, aligning with development, architecture standards and release management practices. Act as the technical advisor to relevant stakeholders driving key technical decisions Work with product teams to capture feature requests, define and manage use cases, and assist when called upon to write them into technical user stories and/or epics. Participate in end-to-end activities related to implementation planning including project management, issue management, production support, communication management, and change management. Perform gap analysis, data and analytic research, production support escalation, and security requirement sign-off, as required. Coordinate with Product Managers and Architects across Customer Experience, Digital Products, and Retail Systems teams to align backlogs, and document key design decisions. Build strong cooperation with other development teams and stakeholders across Customer Experience, Digital Products, and Retail Systems. What you need We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for. At least 4 years of proven experience in building consumer-facing products, leading product backlog, managing roadmaps of epics, setting milestones for development and delivery. Strong understanding of backend services, APIs, architecture, and performance considerations. Strong customer focus. Deep understanding of CDP, preferably Adobe, includes integration architecture. Professional background or bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, marketing, or a closely related field or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to plan and prioritize feature ideas. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a concise manner to a wide range of audiences, verbal and written. Ability to work effectively with remote teams, comfortable managing communications across multiple channels (email, slack, teams, etc.) and geographies to get people aligned and get things done. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (C1 or higher). Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks and delivery practices (e.g., Scrum, SAFe). Hands-on experience with Agile planning and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Miro).
