About The Position

Product Marketing Manager (Early Career, MS/PhD) — SPG Entry-level Product Marketing Manager who drives business objectives by translating customer needs into actionable product and market strategies. Advanced degree technical training (PhD preferred) and strong communication/analytical skills required. Multidisciplinary backgrounds (e.g., BS in one field, MS/PhD in another) are highly valued. Support development of market requirements, product strategy, and technology roadmaps. Assist in business plans, market segmentation, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage and growth. Analyze market segments to identify investment opportunities and recommend resource allocation. Build business cases for product funding and present findings to leadership. Develop and refine customer engagement strategies (pilots, workshops, co-development). Gather competitive intelligence and contribute to pricing and positioning. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales for new product development and enhancements. Track KPIs and risks for pilots, launches, and ongoing initiatives. Use approved AI tools for research, PRDs, and metrics. Broad understanding of semiconductor process modules and system-level trade-offs. Familiarity with device physics, materials engineering, advanced packaging/interconnect, and data analysis. Exposure to business concepts (coursework, projects, internships) is a plus. Demonstrated leadership in extracurriculars, labs, teams, or societies. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complexity and build consensus. MS or PhD in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
