Applied Materials’ Semiconductor Products Group (SPG) Strategy & Marketing team is searching for an intern to join us in summer 2026! The SPG Strategy & Marketing team helps drive technology branding and messaging efforts through various channels and internal/external events. This is a unique opportunity to learn how materials engineering and process technologies are enabling the next-generation transistor, memory, and advanced packaging inflections that are driving the next wave of semiconductor innovations. A successful candidate would possess the inquisitiveness and curiosity to understand the products/technologies we develop and then ascertain the inherent value and how best to communicate that value through various communicate styles and collateral. Must possess strong technical, organizational, communication, creativity, and visual graphic skills.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate must be pursuing a Master’s degree program in an engineering discipline
  • Candidates with a Bachelors in an engineering discipline and currently pursuing an MBA will be considered
  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • High attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, website building, CAD software, and 3D printing a plus
  • Quick learner with strong initiative, collaborative and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the product teams in technical messaging and collateral creation
  • Technical content development – contribute to animations, presentations, blogs, articles, publications
