About The Position

McKesson, a Fortune 10 company, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to define and execute technical strategy for critical platform and infrastructure capabilities supporting an Oncology EMR. This role focuses on establishing and streamlining CI/CD systems to enhance development velocity, release reliability, and operational quality, while modernizing underlying infrastructure for stable, performant, and highly available services. The Technical Product Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to shape the technical vision and ensure alignment between product outcomes and platform capabilities. Additionally, the role involves leveraging Artificial Intelligence to reduce operational and maintenance overhead for development teams, thereby enabling scalable, efficient, and resilient healthcare systems. This position offers location flexibility across the United States, with candidates in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area expected to work in a hybrid capacity, onsite at the Las Colinas office a minimum of two days per week.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years' experience in Tech Product Management or equivalent engineering roles
  • Experience working with EMR systems and provider‑facing healthcare technologies
  • Understanding of technical build, deployment and infrastructure runtime tools and services
  • Experience operating within Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the technical strategy and roadmap for CI/CD platforms, infrastructure modernization, and shared services supporting the Oncology EMR, ensuring alignment to product goals, OKRs, and KPIs.
  • Establish standardized CI/CD pipelines, observability, security, and infrastructure patterns to improve development velocity, release reliability, and operational readiness.
  • Lead cross-team dependency management and modernization initiatives to deliver stable, performant, and highly available clinical systems while reducing technical debt and operational risk.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence capabilities to reduce operational and maintenance overhead for Application Development, Operations and Site Reliability Engineering teams.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders to translate current- and future-state vision into executable technical initiatives and measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure operational readiness through ownership of documentation, runbooks, SLOs, release readiness, and post-incident learnings integrated back into the product backlog.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure technical roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans align with product strategy and business priorities.
  • Engage security, privacy, and compliance partners to ensure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure platforms, and AI‑enabled solutions meet organizational, regulatory, and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Support adoption and operational success by ensuring technical capabilities are scalable, reliable, and well‑documented, including standards, runbooks, and enablement materials for downstream teams.
