About The Position

Technical Product Manager Overhead Products Reporting to the Global Product Line Manager of Overhead Technologies, this position is for a driven and technically skilled Technical Product Manager to support several global MV and HV overhead switching product lines through application focused technical product management. Youll work cross-functionally with teams including engineering, marketing, quality, supply chain, and sales to grow revenue and margin, manage the product roadmap, support our market research group in analyzing the market landscape and competitive activities, supporting quality initiatives to improve portfolio performance, and supporting customer needs. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone eager to deepen their product management skills while making a real business impact. As a Technical Product Manager you will: Support development and execution of the product lines strategic direction, portfolio management, and roadmap planning Support our market research group in conducting market research, analyzing trends, and gathering voice of customer insights to inform product initiatives Assist in the New Product Development (NPD) and Change Management (CMR) processes to launch and enhance products Monitor new product launches, track performance, and refine internal processes for efficiency Collaborate with marketing and others within product management to develop sales tools, product training, and go-to-market materials Support sales teams by providing technical expertise, participating in bid strategies, providing Buy America related product certifications, supporting customer needs relative to the portfolio, and assisting with sales and market forecasting Analyze product line performance and win/loss data to recommend pricing adjustments and improve competitiveness Support cross-functional initiatives to resolve product, quality, or supply chain issues Assist in product lifecycle management, including enhancements and end-of-life planning Represent the product team at trade shows, customer visits, and internal events

Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE or BSME)
  • Has 3 years experience in a sales, application, or product engineering role minimum
  • Possesses strong technical aptitude, especially with engineered-to-order or complex technical products
  • Has effective presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Has a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Is passionate about growing product lines and delivering customer value
